Gauges (Accuracy Test) -Pressure, Depth or Compass Accuracy Checks are not conducted during Regulator Servicing unless specifically requested – This Service fee, if requested, is charged regardless of whether we are able to repair the gauge.  If the gauge is repairable, parts are extra.

Gauges (High Pressure Swivel Repair) -This Service is Performed only if we detect a High Pressure Leak from your Gauges during the Normal Service of your Regulator System – In which case we will Service / Replace the Swivel as necessary.  If you have a leaky Gauge, it may be the Swivel or the High Pressure Hose – Either way, you need to have this repaired ASAP.

Computers (Battery Changes) -Battery Change Prices Vary based on the Type of Computer.  Generally Speaking, Labor rates run $5 to $25 + Parts.  All Battery Changes performed in House INCLUDE A PRESSURE CHECK to guarantee the integrity of the gauge prior to leaving the store – This is the only way we will do a battery change. Some Manufacturers have “User Changeable” Batteries – In which case we will sell you just the Battery Kit.We carry Batteries for ALL USER CHANGEABLE COMPUTERS WE SELL and we are Happy to Sell you what you need. However, BATTERY KITS ARE NOT RETURNABLE ON CUSTOMER INSTALLED BATTERIES (So please make sure you are purchasing the correct kit).Additionally, we will not sit there and install it for you on the spot, because the computer may flood…and once again, we can’t Guarantee the Integrity of the Gauge unless we perform a Pressure Check – This is a 48 Hour Service.

*ANNUAL SERVICE – This Service is what is REQUIRED BY THE MANUFACTURERS to keep your Lifetime Warranty Valid.  It is also Recommended by Pacific Wilderness since your Gear is “LIFE SUPPORT EQUIPMENT”.  An Annual Service Includes a Complete System Pressure Check, Cleaning and Safety Check to make sure your gear is performing within Manufacturers Specs.  If your Gear does not pass this Check and requires an Overhaul, we will do so and you will be charged the Overhaul Rate Only (Not for the “Annual”).  If you do not wish to Overhaul the system, we will need to charge you for the Annual and your system will be returned “AS IS”.
**COMPLETE OVERHAUL – This Service is what is NECESSARY to keep your Gear Safe.  A Complete Overhaul Includes Disassembly of your Whole System, Ultrasonic Cleaning of all Parts, Replacement of all Recommended O-Rings / Seats / Parts – Reassembly, Adjustment and Safety Check to make sure your it is performing within Manufacturers Specs.

Visual Inspection (Required Annually) -Includes Removal of Valve, Inspection Inside & Outside of Cylinder to DOT Standards by a Hazmat Trained Tank Inspector.  We will Replace Illegal Burst Discs, Valve to Tank O-rings and additionally Conduct a Visual Eddy Current Test on All Aluminum Tanks.

This Service is USUALLY Performed While you Wait, but may take up to 48 Hours. 

If you have to have it Guaranteed within 24 hours, a rush service of $10 per tank is available.

Internal Cleaning & Visual (Light Whip) -If your Tank Fails the Visual Inspection above and Requires MINOR Internal Cleaning We can do it On Site in San Pedro and Orange.  The Whipping Process can take anywhere from 10-30 minutes – Depending on the Rust.  After Whipping, your Tank will Receive a New “VIP” Sticker showing it is Clean to DOT Standards.

Internal Cleaning & Visual (Medium to Heavy Tumbling) -If your Tank Fails the Visual Inspection above and Requires Internal Cleaning We can do it On Site in San Pedro.  The Tumbling Process can take anywhere from 4 to 6 Days – Depending on the severity of the Rust / Corrosion.  After Tumbling, your Tank will Receive a New “VIP” Sticker showing it is Clean to DOT Standards.

This Service USUALLY Takes 4 Days. 

If you have to have it Guaranteed within 48 hours, a rush service of $20 per tank is available if the Tank is dropped off at the San Pedro Location.

DRYSUIT REPAIRS – IN HOUSE

Most Repairs Done in 14 Days (10 Day Rush Service $100 Extra)

We receive DrySuits in for repair in various stages of use. It is our intention to make repairs to the best of
our ability based on the suits condition. Our Warranty Extends only to the work we perform and only under
NORMAL Usage as follows: Latex Seals are Guaranteed for 30 Days and all Workmanship/Labor for 90 Days.
PW reserves the right to rule on what is considered NORMAL Usage and what is considered Harsh Usage.

There is a Mandatory Leak Test required on ALL DrySuit Servicing to ensure your Suit is in perfect working order prior to use.

Leak Testing (Required to Guarantee Your Suit does not Leak) –Leak-Testing a DrySuit is the Only way we can determine whether a suit is worth fixing prior to work beginning & to Insure the suit will not leak after work is performed.  It is in your best interest to have the leak test done on any Old DrySuit before we perform any work.  If a customer refuses the leak Test, but still insists on repairs being made, Pacific Wilderness Reserves the right to collect ALL Repair charges in Advance in order to insure we are reimbursed for our time.  No Warranty will accompany the suit upon pickup without the leak Test being performed.
